Searching more than 75 years of world history
A van full of explosives blew up outside a police station in Durango in the early hours of Aug. 24 injuring two police officers. The Guardian of Aug. 24 described the attack as the first serious bombing by the militant Basque separatist organisation ETA since formally announcing in June that it was ending a ceasefire agreement declared in March 2006.
