News feeds allow you to subscribe to Breaking History articles, so you can read them in your own news reader or syndicate them to your website. You can subscribe to RSS  feeds for all Breaking History articles, or just for the feeds that interest you. Whenever new content is added to a Breaking History section it will be fed to your news reader. If you run your own website you can use RSS to display the latest Breaking History content, as long as you attribute the content to Keesing's.

What is RSS?

RSS enables you to receive the latest Keesing's content directly the moment it is published - without you having to visit the Keesing's site to view it.

How do I get Keesing's RSS feed?

The first thing you need is an RSS reader. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser (like Bloglines), and some of which are downloadable client-side applications (like Sharp Reader). All of them allow you to display and subscribe to your preferred RSS feeds.

Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is click on the orange RSS buttons on Keesing's RSS page.

Once you've clicked you will be taken to a page that displays some code. All you need to do is cut and paste the page's URL into a new feed in your news reader....and then wait for the new Keesing's content to be delivered to you.

Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera and Safari, have functionality that automatically picks up RSS feeds for you. For more details on these, please check their websites.
